My trip to Holland

So last week I was on Dutch land. Me and my best friend went to visit one of my house and work mates from Ghana and another friend from the Ghana adventure joined us.

OK since I'm not very keen on telling detailed traveling stories, I'm going to be short and let you see more from the pictures. Basically we've seen parts of Amsterdam, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Utrecht and Volendam - this cute little fishing village, though very touristic. The headquarter was in Dieren - a small town in the middle of the woods as we liked to say.
Another highlight of the trip was Mysteryland 2007 - this huge house party - I enjoyed it so so much - the energy, the craziness, the diversity and the music were awesome! And also if you're ever in Holland don't miss the zoo in Arnhem - they reproduce the dessert, the ocean and the amazonian forest with all their climate, vegetation and life. It was an interesting thing to see.

As I promised I'm not going to write too much - I have to say I really enjoyed Holland and it is a beautiful country - great landscapes, fat sheep and cows, absolutely beautiful horses, cool boat trip through the canals, different and interesting architecture, tons of bikes, tons of coffee shops, nice people and good looking men :) I have to go back to Holland someday and discover it some more - especially that last part. ;)

About creativity

ted.com is a great place for ideas and inspiration. Recently discovered this speech on creativity - Sir Ken Robinson speaks my mind so well - we grow out of creativity and it's actually one of the most important assets in a such unsure environment like our life on this Earth is. I think world has changed so much and so fast lately and we do need to make some structural changes in our way of seeing things and in our way of getting prepared for life.
When people ask me if I believe in God I say I believe in people, in the power within us and I think if we would unlock that creativity we each have inside by default and make it grow, we will at least be happier beings. So...I'm going to further research this fellow and do some creative stuff as well. :)
